But unless Mats is chronic (and he might be), it's just ain't enough.<BR/>If he goes to Montreal, wow, is that dramatic. It's a huge character turn, from hero to villain, but it's a villain I can respect. Choosing a shot at the Cup over <I>us</I> I can understand and live with. It would also be very bold and brave, and that alone, I would respect.<BR/>If he goes to Vancouver, however, all that respect is lost. That franchise appears to be in as much a mess as Toronto, and without Sundin, has no hope of a playoff spot. So why would he want to go there and carry all that weight on his shoulders in a less-comfortable enviornment? Answer: 10 million dollars. If he's a Canuck next year, then he's a sell-out.
