I Used To Like Kevin Garnett

My good friend, and loyal Sports And The City reader, Karan said it best: "Anything is possible...except some class in Beantown."

Peep this from Monday night:

It's one thing to talk trash. Bring the heat, KG. Jose Calderon can handle it. It's another to clap in his face, and point and wave a finger at him like a pompous (m)asshole.

Good on Jose for getting right back into KG's grill after the fact, because that was some bullshit.

It's obvious that the city of Boston has had an impact on Garnett. In just over a year he's gone from being a loveable loser, to a champion, and now, much like his New England brethren, to a douchebag.

Way to keep it classy, KG.

Anything less in Boston would have been uncivilized.

This is what we need in the NBA and sports in general, more emotions!

Ok now, let me explain.

First, the clapping and finger thing was over that top. It deserved a technical and maybe some sort of fine.

Second, if any of you guys out there have played in any sort of competitive sport you should know that trash talking is apart of sports just like the basketball and two rims are apart of the NBA. I love trash talk but of course there is a line to trash talking.

Third, can we look past the obvious technical that wasn't called and focus on what game of the season it is. We are 5-7 games into the season and the intensity is already there, didn't that feel like a NBA Finals moment? The intensity was nuts!

Fourth, I have to give props to Calderon for coming straight back at KG.

I loved watching it even though the Refs are being idiots by not calling a Tech. The only reason why there was no T was because it was a superstar (KG).

That was a class-less act, i like the fact Jose came back, but he shoulda concentrated more on the game....you should have seen Bosh's face when KG did that, he looked straight at Calderon and said (not with words) "Fuck KG lets win this game...", Jose shoulda listened....

Bhattorious.....

I don't mind the wag...just don't bitch back at us when we do it the next time you're in Toronto. That act deserved a 'T' and I'm glad Jose got right in his grill. I just wish we could've stuck it to them.

Praying Jose is a-ok...watching Roko and Solomon for extending periods is trouble.

If your ugg boots become filthy and stained then they can be gently washed by hand with cold water. It's better to avoid laundering them in washing machine and hot water. This may cause discoloration and permanent damage to sheepskin.Steps to clean the soiled and stained ugg :Dip a soft cloth into a little amount of diluted cleaner or conditioner and apply smoothly on the stained areas of the boots. Never apply them directly onto uggs . You can rub with pencil to remove the stain marks on your ugg ultra tall boots prior to washing them Stuff the ugg ultra short boots with paper towels to retain their shape and allow them to dry naturally in a warm place away from direct heat or sunlight.
