Leafs & Sabres Live Bloggage

For reasons unbeknownst to me, the Toronto Maple Leafs have invited me to the Air Canada Centre press box Monday night, to take in the tilt between our heroes and the Buffalo Sabres. It might have something to do with the fact I travel the internet leaving "Playoffs!!!1" in my wake. Like the Wet Bandits, it's my calling card.

Anyway, Phil Kessel. Live. (Giggity.) And it's the final Leafs game in November. Which means it's the last game that matters, all season long. I'm rather giddy with excitement.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, I'll be live-blogging the game here at Sports And The City, where objectivity is nothing but a myth. I hope you'll join me. We'll be getting underway around 6:50 pm.

Go easy on us, Buffalo.

Friggin sweet! Can't wait to check it out. I would also like to point out what a complete fucking joke MLB is and why it is slowly dying. I am so sick of hearing about the fucking Yankees ABSORBING everyone in baseball. OUR pitching aces are over there, the Jays will be by in large part compensated FUCK ALL for losing the best one-two tandem in baseball IMO. A joke! How can one support guaranteed futility? It's the A.L. East fer crissake

When it's all said and done, Loosh, and they look into the records of history and try to figure out "How can one support guaranteed futility?", they will find us.

Look forward to seeing you at the live blog tomorrow. Cheers.

Congrats! Press row is always fun, although I'm only familiar with it at college basketball games. Hopefully you won't suffer the same fate as a blogger when I went to a recent game, who had the crowd telling him to fuck off for two hours.

In the pressbox! Good gig my man. Reach over a few seats and rub Damien Cox's bald head for me.

Thx for the props, gents.

If I do meet Damien Cox, I might have to introduce myself James Bond style: "Sixty-seven. Nineteen Sixey-seven." I might have to thank him as well; if it wasn't for his years of incessantly negative writing, I might never have started writing about the Leafs.

I will log on to the "Silver Fox Lounge" tonight! Look forward to it.

Congrats, Well Deserved. Hope you enjoy the game

@ Hungry: Cheers, mate.

@ DGB: If this is all one elaborate hoax, I will be devastated.

@ 40: "Silver Fox Lounge" sounds like a gentlemen's club owned by none other than Cliff Fletcher.

@ Space Weed: Thanks. And Ryan Miller will make sure none of us will enjoy the game. He's always nails against Toronto. In 12 games at the ACC Miller is 9-3 with a 2.41 GAA and a .918 SV%. Miller's been crazy on the road this year: a .939 SV% in 8 games. BUT: he's yet to face Phil Kessel. Mighty fine Phil Kessel.

Make sure you try the Burkie dogs, they're the one winner MLSE has put together this year

Is this a live-blog or a tape delayed clusterfuck?

If it's the latter, you should rename it "Connected"

Sorry folks, internet went down on press row as soon as I got to my seat. I logged on for a second, and then my hopes were dashed. My apologies.
