I could get used to this ...

Nazem Kadri, from Niklas Hagman, and Tomas Kaberle:

And how about that fist pump? Proper.

It's been almost three months since Toronto drafted him, but I remain at the stage where I'm tickled by the fact that Kadri is actually a Maple Leaf.

Since Friday night, I've been walking around mumbling "Kadri, Kessel, and Schenn." Repeatedly. The future is bright. And when's the last time we could say that?

Not sure why Kaberle would get an assist on that. It was a give-and-go with Kadri and Hagman. I'm a huge fan of Kaberle but not so much a fan of phantom assists.

Kadri's fist-pump was glorious. Very excellent.

@ General: I love the phantom assist; especially when it goes to Kaberle, or to someone on my fantasy team. Phantom assists, all around!1 And, yes, the fist pump was rather glorious.

@ Bhattorious: I had a feeling that it was you who created the fist pump. Next time you score, you gotta bust it out.

More of a beautiful fist swoop really.

I love the phantom assists too. Because that's the only type of points I get in real hockey!

classic knuckledrag fist pump + additional "WOOOOOO!" for good measure.

you really can't argue with the classics.

@ Chemmy: Fist pump, fist swoop, whatever. You're such a stickler.

Like psamms said, "you really can't argue with the classics."

Bottom line: Kadri's going to be HYPE.
