The Good Foot

"Seeking to forget makes exile all the longer; the secret of redemption lies in remembrance."
- Richard von Weizsaecker

In two games, Vernon Wells' three home runs represent 20% of his 2009 total.

We remember 2009. And 2007. It is the memory of those two utterly shitastic seasons that will make Wells' 2010 exploits that much sweeter.

He's healthy. He's back. Rejoice.

And he is sitting on "Low" on the Hatred Advisory System too! Way to go, Wells!

Romero should get another W for the Blue Jays tonight. And...the Jays are ahead of the Red Sox in the standings. heh!

Vernon's projected HR totals need to be updated. Next game he will hit three and so on until he hits 162 in the final game of the year. This is the course he is currently on. The numbers don't lie.

If this trend continues.... EHHHHH!!

Maybe there should also be a "Vernon Wells Bandwagon Advisory System", to let all the haters from last year know just when to jump back on board. It could range from "Let him pull his own damn wagon" to "Extend that contract to 2020"

O.K. It's like taking an old lover back. She looks hot again and is saying and doing all the right things to get you back but you're afraid of getting sucked in....you know what I'm saying?

Give me time V-Dub, if you stay committed for the long term than I'll welcome you back with open arms and forget about those two years where you left me for dead.

And I just have to say it............SALTALAMACCHIA!!!1
