Did you hear that? It was me. Hopping aboard the Vancouver Canucks' bandwagon. Whole-freakin'-heartedly.
The Leafs are done. The dream has been packed up and put away until September, when we shall meet again. Until then, I'm all about Vancouver. Playoffs!!!!1, Canucks style.
Mats Sundin is going back to the post-season. For the first time since 2004, when I was, like, five years old. It's been a long, long time. Excitement is there.
Mats may not win the Stanley Cup with the Canucks. I know that. I'm just glad he's getting the chance...

Leafs or Nothing baby, thats the way i feel, you go bandwagon your heart out......i expect that from a guy who thinks the Lafs had a chance this year....I hope Hason wears his dads glasses when he plays, cause the rest of the season is worthless, but you know me, i will still watch every minute of the final games.....
What happens when the Canucks get eliminated? Do you have a #3 team? And if they get bumped, do you have a #4? Perhaps you should lay out your allegiances, ranked 1 through 16, for the upcoming playoffs.
Me? I tend to take another route: identify the teams I want eliminated first and cheer for them to lose.

Kush: Glad you caught that. Everyone's willing to write that the Jays are going to finish in last, but there are very few out there who are willing to put money where their fingers are. It's sad.

You obviously didn't read Burke's recent comments, b/c he said what I've been saying for months now: this Leafs team was a good goalie from making the playoffs THIS YEAR. And I'm hopping aboard the bandwagon b/c of Mats. He's a Leaf. He'll always be a Leaf.
MF: Well, hopefully the Canucks don't get eliminated. I don't really give a damn about any other team. Not rooting for anyone else. I've got a vested interest in Vancouver, hence the bandwagon hoppage. I don't really root against many teams, except for Montreal. I just enjoy the first round. It's like Christmas. Hockey every night, at 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm. It's just lovely.

Well, eyebeleaf, due to my husband I'll be cheering for the 'nucks in the playoffs as well.
Mats has been coasting recently, I think that since the 'nucks are guaranteed a playoff spot he's conserving his energy and will take over whenever it looks like the canucks are down and out. That man wants a cup.
