I hope to god that his contract does not go. If we force anyteam to take on that contract that kills any return we get.
Plus trading Halladay just to get rid of Wells contract is a serious step backwards and does not help at all.
Wells may be overpaid but there is no way in heck that trading his contract makes our team better, are there are any big free agents out there that you could spend the money on?

I would be very surprised if Bay makes to to Free Agency, with the way that Boston has taken to him, I can see Epstein inking him to a longer term deal.
